Nu-Clean Regular Maintenance Schedules
Daily checks carried out
1) Checking machine valves for escaping steam to include all pipe work
2) Replace button trap bag and clean button trap
3) Checking water pump on initial prime for leaks and water flow
4) Deodorising dry cleaning machine cage
5) Check solvent levels and colour in both tanks
6) Check compressor gage and filter gages
7) Cleaning any foreign bodies around heating sensor under button strainer
8) Checking cage for any foreign objects prior to use
9) Drain water separator
10) Check boiler levels
11) Check all pressure levels and gages
Bi-Daily Checks
1) Drain vacuum unit
2) Carry out filter maintenance
3) Carry out still maintenance
4) Clean cage solvent inlet and spray nozzles
5) Clean water strainer in machine
6) Clean filter screen on Formett
7) Clean filter on washing machine feed
8) Drain compressor
9) Blow down boiler and water gauges
10) Clean Filter screen in tumble dryer
Monthly
1) Grease cage bearings (2 nipples)
2) Grease fan housing bearing (1 nipple)
3) Clean water separator site glasses
4) Rake out carbon residue in still and checking still gasket
5) Clean water pump strainer
6) Change press padding and covers
6 Monthly
Machine serviced by Permac engineer, replacing filters as necessary and cleaning.
Yearly
Boiler stripped down by engineer and fire extinguishers serviced.
Nu- Clean Training Procedures (Monthly)
1) Go through all maintenance procedures insuring that they are all carried out correctly.
2) First Aid safety issues and correct use
3) Chemical storage
4) Reminder of how to carry out use of the Fire Extinguishers
5) Spotting updates with any new chemicals and ensuring correct use
6) Any new fabric updates
7) Garment labelling and identification of possible problems
8) Running through dry cleaning programs and refreshing correct use.
9) Checking weight of garments are being counted and correctly listed
10) Discussing any issues or any other business that may be relevant
